System Requirements for eLearning

BMG's eLearning materials require the following system specs. Of prime importance for people working on a company network, your machine must allow certain file types across the firewall (see details below). Have questions? Call us at 1-800-4-6SIGMA or email a BMG representative

These are the minimum system requirements for BMG's Flash ™ -based eCourses

  • 400MHz CPU or faster (Windows or Macintosh)
  • 64MB of RAM for Windows 95, 98, or NT4
  • 128MB of RAM for Windows ME, 2000, Windows XP, or Macintosh
  • 800x600 display, with 16-bit color (thousands of colors) or better
  • Speakers or headphones
  • Internet Explorer 5.0 or later - OR - Netscape 4.76-4.8 or Netscape 6.2 or later (Netscape 6.0x and 6.1x are not supported)
  • Flash player 6.0.40 or later
  • 56K or higher; broadband strongly recommended
  • The following file types must be permitted (firewall must not block them): MP3, SWF, GIF, JPG, TXT, HTM, ASP, ASPX, JS, S, XLS
  • AOL users will require AOL 3.0 or later, and must minimize AOL and use one of the browsers listed above
