Lean Basics

Despite the many changes going on in industry today, the basic principles of lean have been around since at least the 1940’s when the U.S. War Manpower Commission developed the Training Within Industry program to equip new comers to the workforce with the skills they needed to work in America’s factories. The principles are every bit as powerful today as they were then, and we continue to see substantial demand for cultural transformations based on the principles of lean.
