Pre-Event Boot Camp:
The Critical Tools and Techniques Needed to Implement Lean
in a Health Care Setting

Wednesday, October 24, 2007
8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Breakthrough Management Group has partnered with World Congress, the leading global provider of health care conferences to produce the upcoming Summit on Process and Performance Excellence in Health Care.

This event will convene senior executives from hospitals, health insurance groups, and medical and specialty group practices to discuss innovative approaches for improving quality and efficiency in health care. BMG strongly believes that the objective of events like these, especially within the health care community, is to share information about the effectiveness of Lean, Six Sigma and Innovation to certain business areas.

The willingness of health care practitioners to share lessons learned and case study examples has been extremely beneficial for those involved in similar events. Especially when you consider that the impact of these efforts may improve not only efficiency, and decrease cost concerns, but can also impact the life or wellbeing of a patient. We at BMG are excited to be a part of this effort and hope that our clients and colleagues will be able to benefit from the sessions taking place at this event.

The summit will feature more than 40 distinguished speakers who will present their expertise on how to improve business and service excellence, operational efficiencies and cost performance. Keynotes include Dr. Jeffrey K. Liker, author of The Toyota Way, and Kathleen Jennison Goonan, M.D., Executive Director, Mass. General Hospital/Partners.
