In this article Morten T. Hansen breaks down internal collaboration into when to implement, what to take into consideration beforehand, and gives examples of failure and successes. Collaboration overall is described as a positive enterprise, but Morten believes this to be false. Often companies become enthusiastic about collaboration and implement without taking into consideration the collaboration premium defined as projected returns subtracting opportunity cost and collaboration costs. Without this insight internal collaboration can easily become a burden instead of an asset to a corporation.
